Study Tips

OMG, It is back to school season! And unlike me, I hope everyone is excited whether it is your first time going to university or a returning student. Regardless, here are 3 useful tips that I hope will help you in uni.

1) Record the lecture
This is so important because People lose concentration after like 5 minutes and not to mention if the lesson is boring. So record the lecture and listen to it when you are writing your assignment or you forgot something the teacher said etc. Also, when you listen to something more than once you end up understanding the topic well and it just saves YOU the trouble. Trust me this tip helped me and without it, I would be able to get good grades.

2) Sit at the front
This tip is a little bit linked to tip one and it's not so much of a tip but once you make the connection you will understand why it's so important. And this tip is to sit at the front. The reason for this is that you won't be able to get a good audio quality if you sit at the back of the class/hall.  Also, it's better to sit at the front because usually, you will pay more attention when you are sitting at the front rather than at the back. Secondly, you build a bond with the teacher and he or she will take you seriously and it's all about making a good impression. This will help you if you end up having shortcomings and the teacher will be able to resonate with you. Also, there are so so many other students so if you don't put yourself out the teacher won't even know your name.

3) Perspectives
Thirdly, you need to listen to other people's point of view when it comes to discussion about certain topics or a question. This will help you so much and it's important that you pay close attention to what others think because sometimes other people might even have better explanations than the teacher. Alternatively, what they say could be something useful to you or explain it in a way that you will understand. Also, different people = different perspectives and points which you will need for your assignment or even written exam because you need to make and justify more than one point.

If you do these three things it will make your life so much easier and it will help you get ahead of yourself. It's as easy as it sounds and everyone should be able to do it. You don't even have to take so many notes. And yes, of course, these are just tips that worked for me and it may or may not work for you. I totally understand that people are all different and therefore different things work for different people. But regardless, I hope you find these 3 tips to be helpful and good luck...with everything.
